When Scott and Courtney emailed us to inquire about our photography packages – we were thrilled! This stylish couple has a great eye for creative photography, and Scott himself is a photographer. Scott and Courtney were so excited about their wedding, and their excitement and creativity was inspiring to us. We had such a fantastic time with Scott, Courtney, and their wonderful bridal party.
Scott and Courtney had their ceremony in the evening and the reception followed shortly after. They opted for a “first look” so that the majority of the photographs could be taken before the ceremony began. The “first look” is when the bride and groom see each other before the ceremony.
Courtney’s parents had a beautiful backyard with a little orchard, so we planned to have Scott close his eyes and be led by his groomsman to his stunning bride. Courtney was waiting by the trees, and when Scott opened his eyes, his reaction to seeing his bride for the first time was priceless.

We headed to the Fisgard Lighthouse at Fort Rodd Hill in Esquimalt to get in a few images by the sea. We were worried it might rain, so we wanted to make sure that we were close to cover. The property by the lighthouse is just so beautiful – so it worked out perfectly for us. The rain held out until after the ceremony – so we were very lucky!

The ceremony was held at Saint Michaels and All Angels Anglican Church. I loved all the wood, stained glass and the warm colours in the church. It was a truly beautiful service.

Scott & Courtney – we wish you the very best! We hope your first Christmas together is wonderful!
