Crystal and Morgan’s Vancouver Island wedding morning was grey and the rain was pouring down hard. We had all been watching the weather for awhile, and we knew that it might happen. Morgan and his dad own a wood shop, and you can see the kind of talent that runs in this family by looking at their beautiful home! The outdoor wedding ceremony was held at Cherry point vineyard, and because the rain wouldn’t let up the groomsman carried umbrellas over the girls heads. I love the flower girls expression when she see’s all the guests! Everyone huddled in close to each other under umbrella’s to watch Crystal & Morgan become husband and wife! Everyone was in such great sprits. It was beautiful! It was only a few minutes after the ceremony finished up that the rain finished as well. We got extremely lucky and hurried into the vineyards for some photos before the sky opened up again! I just love Cherry Point Vineyards new wine labels! They are so pretty! The vineyard was bought recently by a lovely couple from spain – and you can see how their style has influenced some great new things around the property. The food and venue were wonderful! The weather ended up being a big contributions to one of my favorite wedding days – I love how everyone came together and enjoyed themselves at this beautiful wedding – and if the day couldn’t have already been the best that it could be – there was the most incredible rainbow over the vineyard just before the sun went down.
