In their reception speeches, Mike and Paulina’s friends and family said that the couple were perfect for each other, and we’d have to agree! From secret handshakes and funny jokes to rhythmic dance moves, this couple is super in-sync. And since they are both Polish, Mike and Paulina included a couple Polish traditions, which made their wedding even more special. Congratulations, you two. We really enjoyed being a part of your big day! Also, special thanks to our third shooter, Erin. It was great being able to capture the day from a third perspective! After over 8 years together, Eddy and Pearl tied the knot! Eddy was very eager to come get his bride and whisk her away to the church to get married, but it wasn’t that simple. Pearl’s bridesmaids were under strict orders to make him work for it. Eddy and the guys were treated to some traditional Chinese games before they were even able to get in the house! Fortunately, Eddy proved worthy for Pearl, and the rest of the day went on without a hitch! We were even entertained at the reception with a traditional lion dance! Congratulations, Eddy and Pearl! Best wishes for your life together as husband and wife! Kevin & Ashley |

THE WEDDING Arthur and Emily had one of those magical weddings that anyone would love to be a part of. They shared their vows in the Fairmont Palliser’s CP Rail Pavilion, under a large canopy adorned with glass spheres and flowers. Pink was the colour of the day, and the Alberta Ballroom at the Fairmont Palliser was decked to the nines with elegant linens and lighting. Outside the ballroom, guests could enjoy punch from the ice sculpture and snacks from the candy bar. Thanks Emily and Arthur for letting us be a part of your big day! You two are incredibly sweet and a wonderful couple to work with. Francis and Jennifer had one of the most unique and stylish weddings we have ever been to. When we first met the couple, they shared a vision of what their wedding would look like and how they were going to make it happen. Jennifer has a formal background in Interior Decorating and Makeup Design, and she used her training and industry experience to bring their vision to life. Jennifer and Francis successfully blended elements of design, style, and culture to make their wedding day special, and it turned out amazing! Great food, fun details, and lots of personal touches made their reception, in particular, one of a kind! It was an unforgettable day for an awesome couple. Congrats Jen & Francis. What a great wedding! Kevin & Ashley WEDDING PLANNING: WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY: Complete List of Vendors Involved: Music Licensed. Kevin and I always enjoy meeting our couples ahead of time, to get a sense of who they are and how we relate. In the instance of Weison and Vicky, however, only our SNAP photography team was able to meet with them before the wedding. While Mike and Ashley had told us great things about the couple, without meeting them for ourselves we didn’t quite know what to expect. When the big day rolled around, however, it only took moments upon meeting Vicky and Weison to see that they are a stellar couple with a tremendous sense of humour. Consequently, though their wedding day was rather busy, it was also great fun to capture. The day began with preparations, wedding games, and a tea ceremony at Vicky’s family’s restaurant. During the games Weison proved his devotion to Vicky by choking down some incredibly hot wasabi and enduring the other devious challenges set before him by the girls! The afternoon began with a traditional ceremony at St Mary’s Cathedral, followed by a photo/video shoot and then a second tea ceremony. The reception topped off the night with more games, numerous sentimental speeches, and some impromptu breakdancing! Be sure to also check out Weison and Vicky’s photos, captured by Mike and Ashley from SNAP. http://www.snapblog.ca/2011/07/vicky-weison-calgary-wedding.html Kevin & Ashley |

Andrew and Sonia waited with baited breath for Saturday’s weather forecast. Calgary’s weather is incredibly unpredictable and the days leading up to the wedding had been downright miserable. The ceremony was scheduled rain or shine atop a hill overlooking downtown Calgary. Sonia was even preparing to provide numerous umbrella’s to guests, if necessary. Thankfully the weather didn’t disappoint. While it was incredibly windy on their day, the couple didn’t seem to mind or notice.
The couple celebrated with some traditional customs (tea ceremonies, games, and the lion dance) and some not so traditional ones (BeyoncĂ©’s choreographed “Single Ladies” dance). This special blend of activities made their day even more special.
Sonia and Andrew were thrilled to have people come from across the globe to celebrate their big day, even a couple wedding party members from overseas. Thanks again Sonia and Andrew for including us in your celebration. We had a lot of fun!

When we first met Justin and Sara, it was like meeting with old friends. With their passion for art, pets, and spirituality, we instantly clicked. After they told us that their dog, Bosco, was going to be their ring bearer, we *knew* we had to be a part of their big day!
During the course of their wedding day, it became apparent that Justin and Sara are an ideal match for each other. They share the same positive spirit, sense of humour, and kindness towards others. This connection became most clear, however, during their vows. Though written independently, their vows touched on many of the same points and even made some of the same references (as you’ll see in the video).
Justin and Sara, thanks again for letting us be a part of your day. You are two perfectly matched spoons!
